Final Steps


Setbacks

As the final exam and presentation day comes closer, our project slowly comes to a close. We’re still working on adding more details a little at a time, just to wrap up everything and provide the best possible experience. We’re still missing a few tidbits here and there, but overall, we’re happy we’ve come this far.

Technical Updates

We have worked on better player feedback and user experience, such as including controller vibrations, and adding small fixes to the UI. Plenty of debugging was also in order. Along with this, we’ve compiled many sound effects and background music, many of which add to the silly atmosphere that we’ve been trying to capture all this time. Some of the particles that we’ve added have been fixed as well.

Graphical Updates

We’ve implemented a few extra meshes into our level, and have updated a couple of the textures as well, although some still need some last minute tweaks. We managed to fix one of our non-working textures. Along with this, we have randomized the placement and rotation of the obstacles a little more for a more chaotic, yet natural feeling.

(Most likely) Our last blog post

We have reached a point where we most likely won’t need to update anymore, as we will focus on adding those final details to our game. The final build will be added onto here when it is done, of course.
